Originally from Spain, Elvira Belmonte started her piano studies at the age of 6. At the age of 11 she won the Second Prize in the II Piano Competition “Diputación de Albacete”, and completed her Professional Qualification in Piano Performance with Julián Sánchez Martínez, completing her studies in 2011. She continued her studies with Antonio Narejos Bernabéu in a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance, and followed these studies with a Master in Musical Performance and Performative Research in Madrid with Patrín García Barredo and Kennedy Moretti. Elvira enjoys playing chamber music, and has performed with different musical ensembles, including string quintets and duets, wind duets, trios and quartets, among others. Ms. Belmonte has received masterclasses from important musicians such as Josep María Colom, Manuel Carra, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Chin Chuan Chang, Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabri and Bruno Canino. She has also performed in many concerts and festivals in Madrid, Murcia, Palma de Mallorca and Albacete. Elvira previously worked as a piano teacher with young children at “Le Lycée Français” in Madrid, and also as a Repertoire and Piano Accompaniment teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Albacete. She loves teaching and working with her students, and aims to help them improve their technique, communicate emotions to the audience and above all, to love music.
