Jason Yang, Piano Tutor
In addition, Jason received a Talent Scholarship from the TU Conservatoire and was recipient of the Music Entrance Scholarship into Sandford Park School. He attained his DipLCM from the West London University and his LTCL with distinction from Trinity College London.
Former member of the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, where he was lead clarinettist for 2 years, as part of the orchestra he toured the West of Ireland and the Netherlands, performing in numerous concert halls including the famous Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
Music has indeed taken Jason around the world with performances in concerts in Beijing, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hancock, New York and Brussels. In the Emerald Isle, Jason has performed at venues such as the John Field Room, National Concert Hall; the Kevin Barry Room, National Concert Hall; the First Presbyterian Church, Belfast; TU Conservatoire as well as the Rathmines & Rathgar Musical Society.
Jason travels to New York in the Summer to work as a musical director at the French Woods Festival of Performing Arts. He has directed productions such as ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘Guys and Dolls’, ‘Flat Stanley’ and the international premier of ‘Weird! the musical’.
Inspiring a genuine love for music amongst his students, Jason is patient, gentle and well-loved as a teacher and has had great success with all student types, from our very youngest 4 - 5 year year old beginners, all the way to our adult students, at both beginner and more advanced level.
