This led her to the opportunities of composing music for several short-films, video-libraries, Youtube-series, documentaries and VR-experiences internationally. Some of her credits include A sense of Color, a Norwegian based VR-experience exhibited at VR Nordic, in Hamar, Norway 2019; The Human Aspect, a documentary film for The Human Aspect that was premiered at the HUMAN International Documentary Film Festival in Oslo and the UN HQ in New York 2018; Infinite Logic, for the London based independent film director Sam Robinson-Horley 2017; Level 2, that was nominated for the VIFF Vienna Independent Film Festival 2016; Reaper Tales, an LA based youtube TV series for Slap TV 2015.
Sigrid Anita is now pursuing a PhD in Music Composition, under the supervision of Grainne Mulvey at TU Dublin's Conservatory of Music and Drama. With such varied and diverse training in classical, jazz and film music genres, she has a lot to bring to the teaching studio, tailoring her approach to suit the needs of her students. Sigrid has enjoyed teaching piano, music theory and production in Dublin, London and Oslo. As a performer, Sigrid Anita has performed classical and jazz repertoires at venues across Oslo and London as both soloist and with ensembles.
