Piano Lessons

At the Piano Academy of Ireland, we determine the student’s level of interest and willingness to learn but we are not necessarily interested in assessing a person’s degree of talent before deciding if they are ‘teachable’. Most people will never make a career out of music but shouldn’t be denied a musical education. It gives us great joy to see students of all levels progress week to week while gaining in confidence & enjoying the process of learning! For those that show more ability & talent, our team also has the expertise, the drive and passion to inspire and steer them in the right direction.

Music Theory

This year, almost all children participated in Musicianship classes, and we are thrilled to see the positive effects of combined Piano-Musicianship training. While it may take some time to develop advanced skills, many parents have noticed an increase in their child’s “musical intelligence” and confidence. The Musicianship faculty is extremely satisfied with the results they are achieving with the students. It is important to continue attending Musicianship classes while learning the piano in order to build up skills over time. We hope to see all of you back next September!

# Sharp Kids Pre-Instrumental

A fun and lively introduction to music, in preparation for the learning of the piano. Suitable for 3 to 8 year olds, this training will begin to develop beat, rhythm, pitch and aural awareness – laying good foundations for the future. Based around songs and musical games (taught sequentially) and led by Caoimhe Radford, who is a dynamo and lots of fun, this is a wonderful introduction for your child who is not ‘quite’ ready to start the piano but wants to get started!
